About Us

Hi, my name is Pierre St. Hilaire. I am the founder of Apple Wood Work Urns.

It all started in 1996, when I was asked to design and make an urn for a family member. From that point on I have been creating urns for people and pets.

I've been in the custom store fixture industry for the last twenty-five years. Our fixtures have appeared in some of the largest stores in the USA, such as Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Marshall Fields’, Chanel, Gucci, the Body Shop, and Bare Essentials. In that time I've learned a lot about working with many materials and I've also worked with a lot of people from many nations. It has been a wonderful experience and a big part of my life.

I have done lots of woodworking, designed and built entertainment centers, fireplace mantles, kitchen cabinet Islands and such. But all the time,
I continued experimenting and perfecting many different styles of funeral
urns for humans and for pets.

Now I have decided to turn over a new page and put all my experience
into custom designing and building urns for the ashes of your loved
ones - including pets - to create lasting memories.
